My preferred build at the moment is Brutality, "No mercy, Bleeding, Backpack Melee" with the infantry bow and either the sadist's stilletto or the blood sword/assassin's dagger/Vorpan. Just keep an eye out for their ground-pound. The archer is mostly harmless, since their attacks are all extremely predictable. If they land on the ground, focus on outrunning them and take pot shots and roll-dash attacks where possible. The tonfa guardian will mostly just go back and forth in easier dodged wall-to-wall patterns. If you're not worried about order-killing for blueprints, focus on nuking the predictable but heavy attacks of the ball-and-chain one first, as they telegraph their moves and have a slow attack pattern, then pick off the tonfas one. If you're playing a brutality build, something like Serenade or the Leghugger will do wonders for you. Outpacing them far outstrips the benefits of landing hits and risking damage. He is encountered in the Mausoleum, FF the paths of which requires wearing the Cultist Outfit FF to open the gate to the Undying Shores FF for the first time. The phrase I would use is "don't stop running". The Scarecrow is the second tier 2 boss in the game and is an alternative to the Time Keeper. If the player follows him, a small cutscene will play, then a key can be found to permanently unlock the Cavern RotG entrance from the Graveyard. Once awakened, he busts down the door after the starting items, where the Cavern Key RotG can be found. His skeleton rests in the Prisoners' Quarters until the player beats the Hand of the King. He is encountered in Guardian's Haven, RotG the paths of which are unlocked by opening the gate to the Cavern RotG in the Graveyard (requires Cavern Key RotG). The Giant is a special tier 2 boss in the game.
